After several years of hard work and in-depth research, Rawlins County Dental Clinic opened its doors with one part-time dentist, one full-time hygienist/CEO, two part-time dental assistants, and one full-time receptionist. RCDC originated in a rented portion of a modular building provided by Rawlins County Health Center.
November 2010
To better serve the growing list of patients, Rawlins County Dental Clinic moved into its own building which more than doubled the physical space. The move was imperative to the continued success of the clinic and would not have been possible without the generosity of two granting entities: The Kansas Association for the Medically Underserved and the United Methodist Health Ministry Fund.

Continuing today...

The clinic continues to grow with over 10,000 patients from more than 18 counties in Kansas, Nebraska and Colorado. The clinic now has the ability to employ two dentists, four registered dental hygienists, and the support staff to accommodate most dental needs. In addition, the clinic continues to increase the Outreach program sites and strives to include mobile restorative dental services for our most vulnerable populations. Rawlins County Dental Clinic’s primary goal is to provide affordable and quality dental care while decreasing restrictions to access for that care.
